Whether the keyboard can do splitting or zoning doesn't necessarily matter, as your host software will do that for you. RE: keyboard, you'd pick whatever works for you in terms of keyboard feel, carry weight, etc. which has been covered a LOT on this forum. This is really a 'how do I use software instruments live' question.
